No sales for 4 days, very few views, what is going on with ebay, they allowed good sales when my monthly bill was due, then back to nothing, and we understand how sales come and go, but the views are concerning, looking at other options as ebay seems to control when and how we sell, sounds hard to believe, but beginning to wonder after watching for the last few quarters. Anybody else experiencing this?

It’s summertime, many folks are on vacation, going outdoors and not looking at eBay. 
Many folks have a three day weekend because of the holiday.

It is upsetting not to have sales for some time, but do you really believe eBay controls sales in the way that you describe, not allowing buyers to purchase, then allowing them to do so when your bill is due?

Most of my sales come at the end and beginning of the month.  Friday - Sunday.  

Friday - Sunday is because I list on Sundays.  

I expect that the end & beginning is because many of my buyers are older, like me, and that is when they get paid.

When the US Gov released stimulus checks (our tax dollars) sales were incredible. If people had excess money today, they would most likely spend it here.  Most people sadly do not have excess money now, so there is little to spend at eBay.

You do realize that ebay makes money when you make money.

The more money you make, the more money ebay makes.

To answer your question, no, I am not experiencing this.

I see the same thing...the absolute slowest ever... no sales in weeks, no watchers, nothing...highly unusual. must have been shifted to the 'we don't want you to sell' algorithm...lol...not funny really.

sales have been so erratic for a few months for me , every month declining , something happen around the end of march and has yet to come back , all i know is i have all my listings promoted and sales and views and been going down for months , this is more than the economy and summer , this is horrible , but i get the same answer from BIG Tobacco sorry i mean Ebay and i get the same answers theres nothing wrong it must be what your selling and or its summer , and i mentioned my items were selling fine up till the end of march then just started dropping , probably another update to make things worse as they do not seem to be getting any better a( the big picture that is )  , so i cancelled them all promoted to see if anything would change and nothing changed same view and sales ... EBAY is a headache , i sell more off ebay now that on Ebay , sell local its cheaper and ive been getting more sales

So... I've been on eBay for a long time now and the summers almost always are slower.  I assume it has to do with spending money on leisure, maybe going to yard sales etc...  My sales slowed as soon as June hit.  I expect the same for the most part in July and August.  Happens every year.

June 1st has come and gone...eBay hasn't charged me for my monthly dues yet. It happens sometimes. I will be charged twice come July 1st usually. Does that means I will have double sales around that time? I doubt it. This is the fourth time eBay skipped a month for payment of dues. Thought I was getting a free ride. No such luck. So, your theory is wrong. I had sales even though eBay forgot to collect my monthly due 4 times in 2 years.

yes I would have to agree with this statement. I sort of wonder how much of the griping I read here is really just a bunch of conspiracy theories and not much else

You usually sell one or two items a day, but on June 2nd you sold four.

Why did eBay "allow" double your usual sales on that day?
