Not true. I sell collectibles that younger buyers buy; there's quite a large market out there for that. The difference is that younger buyers aren't interested in the same sorts of things that older buyers were.
I was just at a rummage sale a couple of weekends ago-- tables and tables full of china and glassware and not a single person was looking at any of that. They were all going for the books and the jewelry and the clothes and the kitchen stuff and the toys. The jewelry in particular was all gone by the time I came back the next day.

Is there going to be a need for special training for mechanics to work on electric vehicle's. At what cost to the companies and mechanics? Then we are already $31.46 trillion dollars in debt.
People were probably saying the same thing about cars replacing horses and buggies. Things are done in a step-wise fashion as retooling is done and cars are gradually replaced. Mechanics retrain, companies retool. It's the course of progress.

Yes, this is probably true let's just hope the whole world is on the same page.

The estimate tied to the legislation projected its energy and climate change related programs cost $368 billion over the next 10 years. Oil surges to more than $120 per barrel - cause Russian and Ukraine war, restrictions due to renew energy policies.

Cost? Economy? Consumers are not buying. Shipping and transporting. Goods and services. = Cost of living increase. Wages for the most part are the same. Along with debt. Recession.

We might be going back to the horse and buggy here soon. That might be the best alternative.

Your prices and your ship cost is why.

Homeless, mental people, and drug attics most likely have never bought on Ebay so that is not the reason for the slowdown.

Thank you for the information, tip. I will definitely be on the lookout for these items. I will dig through my inventory.

There are many issues in the U.S. right now that need to be addressed in contributing our economy. Recession. Social media, obesity, gun violence, I will throw that it in that hat. Food for thought.

I really have to come up with a canned answer that I can copy and paste into the 100' if not 1,000's of postings that have shown up about slow sales.

how we are we going to afford the cost of replacing all are trucks and cars on the road with electric and hybrid vehicles.
The same we afford replacing gas or diesel powered ones?
When the vehicle breaks down for the last time, we buy another, but the engine would be electric rather than petroleum -powered.
And as consumers we look at the end cost of purchase, forgetting all the inputs including the jobs produced by those inputs in mining.
(Canada has large lithium deposits in Ontario and Australia is the world's largest producer of lithium. Both are US allies and economic partners through TPP and CMUSA)
Is there going to be a need for special training for mechanics to work on electric vehicle's. At what cost to the companies and mechanics?
Yes. Just as there was a need and cost to retrain mechanics when computer controlled vehicles became the standard. One of my BILs was an auto mechanic until then and subsequently retrained . He has since retired from a better paying, unionized job as a mechanic with BC Ferries.
Then we are already $31.46 trillion dollars in debt.
Since most of that debt is from running the US Armed Forces, there is a pool of workers there ripe for training to build, operate, and repair the new technology.
Or switch the money from the military to schools including trade schools and universities.

Even the changes/upgrades to plants mean jobs not only for the builders, but for the guy with the food truck, the grocery store where they shop, the teachers at their kids' schools.
Car companies were notorious for "planned obsolescence"

The tchotchkes/trinkets market is way down at the moment because these things tend to be the least wanted when the economy takes a dip. Collectables that do well are the ones that are super rare and sought after by the wealthy.

You are selling high value items and charging shipping. Just a check on your open Lego set compared to the sold items and they are selling sealed with free shipping at about the same price as yours and yours most likely is not complete. I don't specialize in any of the items you are selling, but the prices do seem high for this market. Even offering free shipping could increase your sales.
Good luck
