Sales down

My sales are significantly down suddenly. I am just a small seller, usually 2-10 items a day.  Now I’m down to going days without a sale.  My sales had been steady for months. I have not done anything differently. I understand the Christmas rush as I have been selling for several years but seems something must have changed that I’m not aware of. Anyone else having this issue?

My sales are Way down! I think about 75 percent from December. The new systems are not helping At All Ebay.😱😱

We have been with Ebay for 17 years. Currently Healthcare, essential summer items are up, All none essential items ie. Toys,  Gadgets, decorations, and impulse items are all down dramatically. Keep in mind most people blow all their stimulus and the unemployment gravy train is stopping in most states, and inflation is being seen as warned, if you keep print monopoly money.  It has a huge affect on the economy. ie. Mattel toys stock is now down over 25% and still falling.

After 10 years of asking, They still have not figured out how to show QTY available from the sellers in the main search, so you do not have to click on every single listing to find qty. available.  As a reseller we do not buy on Ebay very often, they make very difficult and time consuming to locate the items. in qty.

They still have not figured out a way to stop reseller scammers. I had to open 3 cases this month alone to get back over $500 in purchases from fake accounts which tied up my funds for 25 days. THEY WONDER WHY BUYERS DO NOT TRUST EBAY. This can been seen in the fact that the prices are lower then any other market in most cases,  just to get items to sell.

Simple fixes seem to be allusive to Ebay, But their stock is up for the investors. That is what really matters in the cooperate world.

If the Resellers put up with it then they are not going to fix it.

Remember, the RESELLER are EBAY's true customers, without us there is no Ebay.

I would recommend promoting, and recovering that $0.50 from somewhere else.  I say that because if I don't promote, I don't get sales.... And the maximum I promote is 5% (that's where I got the 50 cents from - $10 item, 5% promotion = $0.50).  If you can get a good sale on boxes or packing material or anything, invest that into promotion, you will see a world of difference.  You could probably promote - and then have buyers pay the shipping fees - and still sell more - and make more money because of it.  Test it out... see if it works for you!  ❤️

We have two different business on Ebay, one is toy and collectible related and it is up and down weekly but overall sale's are very very slow the last 60 days. Some of this is due to a few sellers willing to sell at a 5% profit after all cost which is  a waste of time and the other reason who knows , because our other business which is Auto Parts is nuts, we were up 20 % 2020 over 2019 and so far through June 1 2021 were up 38% over same period in 2020.

I’ve stop using eBay because of there new policies that they need direct access to bank accounts. I have since moved to other platforms. eBay needs to bring back PayPal for sellers and forget forced bank account access, I have already stopped selling here and really don’t wish to support eBay buying either.  They just got to greedy and can go suck an egg…
