I'm curious if sellers in MP who were affected by the Payout issues this morning are also seeing low/no sales as well?
This is our slower season, but even so it would be rare for us to go hours with no sales at all. We are a larger account in our category and have fairly consistent volume.
Today we had no sales for about 7 hours, starting coincidentally around the same time as the Payout issue was first being reported and also coincidentally ending shortly after the announcement was made that the issue was fixed.
Mid week and earlier in the day do tend to be slower times for us but on average we consistently would normally have had at least a dozen orders during that time period on a Wednesday. Given our very consistent history, odds of us not getting a single order in that time are pretty slim.
I'm just wondering if buyers were also possibly experiencing issues with checkout/payments at that time.

Sales down this 4th quarter in general. Seems eBay is no longer the place to get good 4th quarter or December sales anymore.

I increased marketing and sales are the lowest this year. The number of times I went to ebay today and it read, "its not you, its us" doesn't help my sales.

My sales have been quite busy and today was very slow for me. I'm in MP and was affected by today's issue.

Last good day was Black Friday. Slow every day since. 1 sale today.

Exact same experience. I received an email from ebay that said "problem with payout". ZERO sales yesterday then mysteriously at around 6:30 PST the cash register started ringing again. Over $1000 in sales on Monday, $250 Tuesday, ZERO on Wednesday until the glitch was fixed. Really frustrating to have a technical glitch on the busiest online week of the year. NOT A COINCEDENCE! I think the glitch affected sales on Tuesday also. Does your data support my experience on Tuesday?

@woodyscustomshop - yes, our Tuesday sales were down considerably as well, though not as bad as Wednesday.
On Wednesday after the announcement was made, we did start to see sales come through again but mostly in dribbles. Our traffic page shows we had higher than average impressions and clicks yesterday, but our sales ended up at about 1/3 of average.
So clearly people were seeing our stuff, and interested enough to click through to the listing - which just leaves the question of why would so many not purchase? Obviously there can be many factors to that, but unfortunately sellers do not have any insight into abandoned carts, so unless buyers reach out to us we really have no way of knowing for sure.

Same issues as others here. Called ebay several times. Glitch seems to have also made my promoted listing impressions drop off the table too which affects everything as well. We rely on promoted sales and if promoted listing impressions drop off it kills our sales, we had an above average weekend in sales and so far this week has been terrible.
