Sales Tax Question

I've been doing some digging around here and the one thing I haven't seen addressed, is the question of when is Ebay going to pay this tax they've been collecting? For months now, they've been collecting sales tax and putting it in my Paypal account, but so far, none has been taken back out? I'm afraid of the balance I'm racking up here and suddenly they're going to whack me for a huge amount of money. 

The question is, at what point is Ebay going to take that money back out of my Paypal account in order to send it to the states? Thanks.

You need to check your records more carefully as that is not how it works.   Prior to Nov 4, the buyer got two bills - one for the item+shipping and another for sales tax.  The sales tax went to ebay.    After Nov. 4, the buyer got one bill but paypal took the sales tax off the top and sent it to ebay.  What was left went in to your paypal acct.

Are you sure this is the case?

Can you give us a detailed example of one of these transactions? ie. the sale price, the shiping charge, the sales tax charged to the buyer, and the paypal transaction details?

I wasn't reading the transactions correctly. I see the money was taken out as quickly as it went it. Thanks.

The only exception to that was some amounts for transactions sometime in November where the ST was NOT remitted to ebay. But if you had any of those you would have had an email from PayPal detailing the transactions & the amounts and when they would be taken from your PayPal.
