Someone bought my item and minutes later I received messages with offers almost double what the buyer bought it for. What is the procedure here? I feel bad canceling but didn’t think it was worth so much.

And Sometimes it's Good to Not be an ____ , and leave a Member / OP with an "Out" or in civilian term's a "Warm Fuzzy" in the hopes that they may come back to the Forum, as opposed to pure spiteful quip  responses I see from the usual suspects here.. Thankfully, those folks are a very small %...

It's Terrific to have old school folks here that have, "Been Here Read That" many many times over the years. Hopefully when commenting to New Posters they keep in the back of their mind that there is No eBay Map or easily accessed guide provided to get timely information.. I think that was the intent for these Boards, Forums or Whatever we call them before it's changed Again!!

It may be an old hashed over, beat to death, redone reworded Subject / Topic to the Folks that Eat & Breath these Forums Daily over the Past Two Decades, but it's New & Now to the Genuine Seller / Buyer visiting here..

Hopefully we can ALL learn that Balance!!

I'm Trying.. I'm also Aware of those that Don't!.

Once someone has bought your item you can not cancel the sale to accept a better offer. If you are not sure of an item's value you should list it as an auction instead of buy it now. With an auction the item will go to the highest bidder.

What's a gopher? Is that like a mongoose?    😉

What's a mongoose? A gopher is a woodchuck (or is that a Canadianism too?)

Hi!

It is a real animal.  Pocket gophers, commonly referred to simply as gophers, are burrowing rodents of the family Geomyidae.[2] The roughly 41 species[3] are all endemic to North and Central America.[4] They are commonly known for their extensive tunneling activities and their ability to destroy farms and gardensimages.jpg

In Canada... they are also called ground hogs, prairie dogs, and woodchucks. (There might be some subtle difference between these, they might not be the same species even though they come from the same genus).

I saw a huge obese squirrel in the tree in my yard that looked like a small groundhog. I tried to take a picture, but the lights were on in my room and he saw me and scampered. I do get up close and personal with the squirrels though my bedroom window.
