I’m looking for a trading assistant who can sell dolls, sports collectibles, and various figurines. I’m in San Jose.

Ebay did away with the trading assistant program some years back. I'm guessing any seller wanting to put their account on the line selling your items will want the lions share of the profits. Bear in mind they'll be dealing with ebay fees, charge backs, returns, INAD cases, IRS reporting, etc. all falling on their account and reputation. Most sellers find it to be a handful just listing and selling their own items.

Ill be the first to tell you you wont find any takers in here. What with Irs taxes, returns,cc chargebacks, plus the fact when something goes wrong its the sellers account in jeopardy. As noted in another thread, collectibles is an oversaturated category with millions of listings and poor sales for quite awhile here.

Even if I lived down the street from you (I don't), I would not do this in return for a portion of the sale or even part of the profit.
I have 26 years of experience selling online via eBay and various other platforms and venues. I would consider helping you out for an hourly wage. You can keep all your proceeds. We will use YOUR name, your account, your bank account, you social security number, etc. Even the promise of 50% of a sale is a dumb idea if the product never sells. LOL... How about $50 an hour? I can even set you up with your own website, auto billed to you, of course.
Truly, I an not trying to be snarky or rude. There is a reason there are no more "eBay drop off stores" anymore.

You're only allowed to sell two dolls to any little girl now anyway.

If you're in San Jose, just take them all over to eBay HQ, dump them on the front doorstep, and say, "Maybe YOU can sell this stuff, because it's not selling for anyone else on your website."

I couldn't honestly mark your reply as 'Helpful' for the OP, but I can honestly say it made me snort laugh. 😉

It will be easier if you register as a seller and do it yourself. It's not hard to fill in a listing form. You can learn as you go along. Start selling the cheaper stuff first so you don't get burned. Chances are if you no longer want the items nobody else does either. The collectibles market has taken a hit as new generations have differing interests.
