Bought a $700 gold coin from me and then complain to her bank that her account was hacked. She did that go through eBay or PayPal which she bought it from went to the bank and got her money back and then she intercepted the coin in Millington Michigan and in Chicago Illinois. I requested signature confirmation. Is there anyway I could to the post office or try to sue her. I lost almost $700 in behind on my mortgage payment. Because of her. Any information you could go or advice you could give me would be greatly. I have asked her her for any paperwork to help me find out what happened to Michael coin and she claims that I'm harassing her and she's going to sue me for harassment after she intercepted the coin in both Millington Michigan and Chicago. Any advice please contact Diane Brewer brewed 01 at eBay

You might want to explain how she can intercept something in two different states.

Rule #2 Insure the package, ideally with USPS (I have had nothing but good experiences with USPS insurance)
Rule #3 Signature service
Rule #4 on high dollar shipments, or items you cannot afford to lose money on, Registered mail, or FedEx requiring Photo ID and direct signature of the person whose name is on the package.
High dollar easy conversion items such as gold bullion, coins and jewelry are big targets from online fraud and as such, you have to take extra measures to ensure every transaction is legitimate. I have personally saved a lot sellers a lot of heartache by following my rule #1. Account holders shocked someone used their account... Then I make a phone call to eBay and the transactions on that account canceled. Not just my transaction.
If the post office delivered the package to the ship to address and the item was signed for, insurance will not cover anything no matter which of the rules above you followed.
The intercept attempts in transit suggest a 3rd party trying to "snag" their fraudulent purchase.
If the item is still in transit, you can file to have the package intercepted and returned to you.
If the item was delivered, but not to the ship to address, and the item was insured - file a claim of loss against the insurance. For all the good it will do, file a police report.
It is my understanding that you have no recourse against the buyer in a fraudulent transaction. If the buyer received the item, and did not order it, it is my understanding they are not required by any law to return the item to the original seller.

It's not required for seller protection on sales of less than $750. If the buyer is claiming an unauthorized purchase and filed a chargeback, you need only prove shipment, not delivery. (Signature Confirmation would get you only a signature from someone at the delivery address anyway.)
We really need a bit more detail here on exactly what happened and when.
