SALES FLAT

I don't know what is happening but I have alot of items for sale not a single sale not a single question.   This has been going on for weeks, its been bad for months but sales have completly tanked and I have a very varied collection, antique signs, antique toys, guitar tab books, military, oil cans etc etc and nothing. Is it the time of year but it was bad before summer, is it the items, is something going on with economy I wish I knew.

Re: SALES FLAT

The biggest thing I see is your shipping charges are too high.

Re: SALES FLAT

You have 67 items and you're complaining, I have over 1800 and no sales, I complained a little but that didn't really help, so I stopped.

Complaining that is.

Re: SALES FLAT

What?

You have 67 items listed and 10 sales this month so far.

The whole "This has been going on for weeks, its been bad for months but sales have completly tanked" doesn't make any sense when you're clearly making sales...

Easy fix, source/list better, more in demand/desirable quick selling(high sell thru rate) items. Check your competition and make sure that you are charging correctly for the item and shipping. Your shipping does seem to be high for the items you are selling/have sold.

The stuff you've been selling at the prices you have them at may have done good in the past but may not be doing good now.

Adapt and change.

Good Luck.

I'm going to have to agree with this. $12.99 for shipping a t-shirt? I've sold t-shirts before and I know it doesn't cost anywhere near that to ship one. I shipped the ones I sold First Class in a box for around $6.

Re: SALES FLAT

Given your few listings, what you're selling and your rather high shipping, you're actually doing remarkably well, and obviously your eclectic selection is working.  Just keep going.

Also, around $8 in a padded priority flat rate envelope.

My shipping on a t-shirt is $6, $3 each additional.

Re: SALES FLAT

I have to agree with the other responders that your shipping prices are absurd and border on theft. 20 bucks to ship a felt pennant that can be loosely rolled and shipped for no more than 8 oz and 4-5 bucks? Really

@kollectiblesforyou

I like your taste in collectables, but I'm on the high shipping bandwagon also. I really love this vvvvv

but starting the bidding at $299.99? + $40 bucks to ship your leaving alot of interested buyers out in the cold including me.

This is a good auction item but starting price should be around the $40 mark. Shipping should be around $20. Now you can spark some interest here with tweeking the title also.

MCM TV lamp cat figurine plastic base working order.

The title you have now, half of the buyers wouldn't type that stuff in to view and the other half couldn't spell siamese!

    Best to you

Re: SALES FLAT

Looking at your completed listings and Solds—the wide majority of your items have sold for the opening price with just one bid. That suggests that most of your auction items would do well at fixed price with the option to have Immediate Payment Required ( but would have to forgo Best Offer). Many shoppers want it now and no longer have the patience for auctions. Try adding more fixed price and see if sales pick up. Good luck.

Re: SALES FLAT

You have about 60 listings.  I checked 3.

You have 25 Great Guitar Solos for $27 shipped. The competition is at $5.12 shipped.

You have Jimi Hendrix Electric Ladyland Rock Guitar Tab Notes Book at $23 shipped and the competition is at $8.66 shipped.

You have Best of Kiss 26 Classics Rock Guitar Tab at $23 shipped and the competition is at $4 shipped.

Seems like you are guessing prices with zero price research. If you are putting in prices like that on easy to research items than I can be certain that your prices on hard to research items are also bad which is why nothing is selling.

I would be a long retired millionaire if it was possible to sell things at multiples of their going rate.

Re: SALES FLAT

I looked at your roseville vase bowl (which i think is just a vase)  to see how big it is to justify the large shipping you would be charging me  from california to arizona. I couldn't see the dimensions in your description or even in item specifics.  I may have missed them somehow.  I did notice your description did not mention the very visible breakage on the handle, which turned me off as a possible buyer.
