I have never had to do this and not sure if you can. I made a mistake and shipped a wrong item to someone. They contacted me and asked me to make it right. While i was responding saying that i would ship out the correct item he left a neg feedback. Is there someway to respond to that FB where it shows on my feedback score. I know 1 neg isn't the end of the world but it ticks me off.

Since you are sending out the correct item why not begin with asking your buyer for feedback revision.
If your buyer fails to agree, you can submit a polite, professional reply to the neg you were left.
Hope this is will be of some help

Yes you can respond to feedback, I believe it is an option at the bottom of your feedback page. Keep it civil and factual.

First option is to ask for the buyer to consider a feedback revision AFTER you've resolved the mistake.
If that doesn't work, a reply to the negative can help. Make sure that the reply is factual and speaks to future potential customers rather than being defensive. I have respect for sellers who reply acknowledging the mistake and saying that they made it right.
Mistakes happen. How they're responded to speaks volumes.

I'm sorry the buyer left a neg without giving you a chance to make things right, but your reply to the feedback was excellent.

If your buyer is willing to change the feedback then you could send them a feedback revision request:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/leaving-feedback-buyers/disputing-feedback-received?id=4102
Here is also the link on how to reply to a feedback and it also has the link to request a revision.
Hope this helps!

I'd be p'd off too. The negative feedback was not necessary at all.
Your action and response was appropriate.
Now......I'd block that buyer....and then I'd let them know it.

I wouldn't leave a neg, but I would be more than ticked off if I received the wrong item, especially if I had to ship it back to the seller. In fact, I probably would leave a neg if I had to ship the wrong item back..
The buyer might revise the neg when the correct item has been received..

I received my first negative in years even after I offered a full refund upon return . The buyer didn't want to return the necklace she bought from me . Instead she wanted a free one sent so she could have two . Since I refused to do that she left a negative to spite me . E bay calls stuff like this '' just the buyers opinion '' . But I call it '' buyer getting even for failing to scam a seller '' . Tulips
