Absolutely scandalous add no a fee for a reserve price. **bleep** fuming I have just had to pay over £300 for reserve prices for items that never got sold or had any interest in whatsoever. **bleep** furious where can I go for this.

Probably get hung up on (and deserve it).

I erred in my previous reply. I mistakenly thought your first listing (ended earlier today) was another auction listing with a reserve.
That previous listing was NOT an auction but was FP/BO, which is the better way you should have listed it.
Now that you've already been charged for the reserve, let the auction run its course but if it doesn't sell or doesn't meet the reserve, relist it as you previously did.
Note that if you don't want to deal with lowball offers (for the b.o. option), you can set an auto-decline amount and any offers less than that amount will be declined without you having to respond to them.

Not saying this didn't happen, just that am not able to see the item being talked about.
It's on the .co.uk site:

You can go to eBay.co.uk to see the seller's listings. They have one active auction with an opening bid of £1 and a BIN of 3500, and one ended listing that was fixed price with Best Offer, also at 3500.

The maximum reserve fee on eBay.co.uk is £150

Sometimes if you call eBay and convince them you did not understand the fees they will remove the fees. Worth a try?
Doubt they'll get far with that attitude lol
They would probably be back complaining because CS keeps hanging up on them.

Still, a big difference between 150 and over 300!
