Removing negative feedback left by mistake

The buyer left a negative feedback by mistake: it supposed to be posted for a previous transaction he had. I’ve contacted him , he was very happy with my item, he sent me AND to eBay a message stating that it was an error, yet eBay keeps refusing to correct the mistakes.

That is wrong! 
I have a stellar record for over 20 years and over a million dollars transactions, and zero negatives.

EBay, again disappointed the seller !

They have all my correspondence with the buyer including his request to remove the negative feedback.

This is a task for the seller and buyer, not for eBay customer support, since there is a simple process.  As noted in the previous post, just send the formal "feedback revision request" within 30 days after the transaction, and then the buyer has 10 days to respond.

You need to send the buyer a feedback revision request.......

 

Go to the bottom of your feedback page and click on request feedback revision......

What if it's been more than 30 days?  I have the opposite problem.  I don't look at my feedback very often but recently discovered that a seller who I purchased from in October, had a good transaction with, placed a negatively worded feedback on my transaction by mistake.  I contacted the seller and they have been trying to get Ebay to remove the mistake feedback from my profile but Ebay is not responding.  I've been in Ebay since 1996 and have flawless feedback except for this mistake made by a seller who meant to post it on someone else's transaction.  Its been nearly 60 days now and despite the sellers efforts, nothing has been done to correct it.  There seems to be no provisions for a buyer to dispute a feedback.

Ask the seller to leave a followup comment which explains his error and tells everyone that you're a great buyer.

The only way that a buyer can change the feedback that they have left is if the seller sends them a formal feedback revision request.
