I have had two items because the buyer said not as advertised. Specifically the item is gold necklaces whereby the pendant was not questioned as 14K solid gold but I failed to notice and advertise the chain was 14K gold filled. I sold the chain for the appropriate price. If a solid gold chain the cost would have been 4-5X what I charged so I was not trying to cheat anybody. It is a beautiful piece. My question is should I relist this item at the same price with a correction for the chain. It would still be worth it.

When I say "correction for the chain" meaning advertising correction. The price will stay the same.

Update the description and relist it.

Maybe put "GF chain / 14K charm" in the title and make a prominent disclosure in the description too.

Thanks. These were nice pieces for 150 so I am not talking about really expensive stuff. I am sure if I put them back out they will go easy.

I believe the people who bought my two necklaces were buying for melt prices and that is an issue selling gold or any metal jewelry. You can sell a beautiful piece of jewelry worth more than the value of the gold and they only see the melt value.

Glad to know your items are back! This time, write a description that Timmy in the First Reader could understand. Good luck.
