Relisting items....helpful insight please...

I noticed when i start a 30 day listing, i can, lets say get 100 views on my item. If the item doesnt sell and i relist it, changing the title around a bit and adding new photos and dropping the price, the item always gets an average of less than 10 views for the month which gives it no chance of selling, so i am hitting a brick wall. I have asked customer service about this and they just dance around the topic. Does anyone have any helpful and positive insight on relisting an item because if an item is not getting the views, it cannot be sold.

Try using "Sell similar" instead, so eBay doesn't see it as a repeated listing.

I've gotten to where I pay very little attention to number of views and even less to watchers. I look to whether or not I get ONE view that kinda tells me the bots have indexed it. Most of my items sell with LESS THAN 10 views and some with no views at all.

Use GTC instead of 30 days. In the meantime, study why you got such low views.  Beef up keywords, check market price, look at the quality of your gallery photo, etc.

To me, views are very important because it shows your item is getting exposure. If your item is not getting any views, it is just proof it is not getting exposure, therefore, it doesnt stand a chance at selling. I will make some changes. hopefully it helps..
