I got an email saying "Raw - Surface does not match the listing: Fail ; Raw - Card does not match description (grade, etc): Fail", What does that mean? Im trying to find out what I did wrong. Its my first time using Ebay Authenticator

Did you send the card as shown in the photos you provided in the listing? Example, did you put the card in a sleeve? I see the basketball card in your closed listing, I assume its that one.

I am aware they have failed cards simple because it isn't the one in the listing. I know, I know, do not shoot the messenger. Example, card was not in a sleeve in your photos, but you shipped it in one. Hence surface does not match the listing. Anyway, just a thought.

Anyway, I'd get it back and get it graded.

@collectfest Your spot on. This was brought up before when another seller put his card in a plastic case and sent it off to authenticators. He did not show in his listing the card in this plastic case therefore the sale failed.

When they Authenticate a card

1. Is the card fake.

2. Does it match the sellers description in the listing.

(I do see a slight crease in the front top right corner)

If that's the slight crease you described in your listing.

It's not really in the front top (right) corner.

Thanks everyone for your replies and feedback. This really helps a lot, I tried looking everywhere for a response. I will update my photos and description!
