Hi
I sell books in my store…is there a way I can turn off returns for only the books and not my other listings? This is the second time I have had a buyer keep a book for over 3 weeks…. Probably to read it and then request a return just before the 30 day deadline I don’t want to accept returns on books anymore

Sure you can choose no returns.
You just set up a Business policy with No Returns and use it on whatever listings you want.
Just be sure you understand, No Returns does not mean No Refunds.
The buyer just has to claim that it wasnt as described in the listing and you will refund them.
There is no way a seller can get around the MBG and the buyer needs zero proof to get refunded.

When I was in college I used to 'buy' a book at the bookstore (over a hundred bucks, even back then). Take it to work with me over the weekend and copy it. Yea, photocopy it. Took about an hour. I'd keep the 'book' in a three-ring binder and use the back of the pages for notes.
I'd then take the book back to the bookstore, get my money, and run to the bank to deposit in time to cover the bad check I wrote to get the book.
Yea, I know, I'm gonna burn in hell.
But, I got a four-year degree in three years ... and never borrowed a dime.
At the end of the quarter, I'd sell the 'book', the notes, and all the tests and quizzes ... and it would help pay the tuition that was due.
I lived on Top Raman and coffee. Worked thirty or forty a week, carried 18 or more quarter units, and slept about three hours a day.

Buyer can still do a return plus you might get stuck paying for a shipping return.
Why not do a 14 day return where buyer pays for shipping?
And don't forget to block this buyer who is returning a book.
