Refund

Help....I want to return a small amount to my buyer, as ebay "overcharge" for the shipping.   I have spent over a 1/2hour trying to find a way to do this.  I even get, congratulations you are all caught up when I follow the prompts.
Everything is AI, I guess.

Re: Refund

eBay doesn't charge shipping to buyers sellers set that up. Is it for the Christmas bow? Your buyer was charged exactly what you set for shipping, eBay doesn't do that.
To send a refund to your buyer click the tree dots next to the item scroll through to look for send refund. As shown below.

Re: Refund

How much over charge are you talking about? Was it the discount from buying shipping thru eBay? Have the buyer made any noise about shipping cost?

Frankly unless it was a large amount (more than the cost of a big Mac), I wouldn't bother.

Re: Refund

I agree with @redmodelt

for example...if you bought $10.00 in postage (for the item you charged 12.96 for) you actually paid 11.72 for the postage (since FVF are charged on that 12.96)

But a Big Mac is 9 bucks in some locales....so let's say a cheeseburger

Re: Refund

@sweetpea6053

Careful how you spend your time.

I've refunded a number of buyers for a few dollars shipping overcharged here and there over the years.

Always with a heads-up courtesy message to let them know what I've done.

Not one person has bothered to thank me, much less leave feedback.
