Purchased item returned to me via USPS. Unclear as to what to do now. If I cancel the order will it count against my items being shown on eBay?

EBay does not require you to do anything with an Undeliverable shipment.
It's up to the buyer to give you a useable address.
When the item comes back to you, relist it.
If the buyer opens a Claim, give the tracking number and note that the address was Undeliverable.
Now.
If the seller wants, they can refund any part or even all of the customer's payment.
But, eBay won't require that.
And most would only refund the actual selling price, less any fees paid out, including the part of the eBay fees that covers sales taxes, and of course options like PL fees.

Poster doesn't have to do anything. Site says if the purchaser gave an undeliverable address, purchaser is not covered by the site.
If the poster wishes, the poster can refund the purchaser just the item cost, if the poster does not want to collect further monies to reship the purchase to the purchaser.

I do nothing. Buyer needs to contact me. Can't give a refund to a deceased buyer.
