Promotion fees

I was reading that a seller pays 5 to 10 dollars a month to promote 500 items. I have 267 items listed, total. I think I pay to promote EACH item 4 to 15%.  How do I get into this '5 to 10 dollars /month to promote 500 items.

(I write this because I think I get so little for everything I have listed.)

Promotion fees

Are you sure you understand how the promo fees work?     Say you sell an item for $500.00 with "Free" shipping

You set your promo fee at 2%     eBay collects nothing from you until the item sells.   $500.00 X 2% would be

$10.00 for the promo fee.    At 15%   the fee would be $75.00 for ebay to collect,   Or deduct from your

payout.

If the $500.00 item does not sell,   You owe no fee.

The seller who is giving ebay $10.00 per month for promo is selling very little,   Or he's selling $1,000.00 per

month and paying a 1%   promo fee to ebay.

Whatever you set the % at you pay nothing till the item sells.    15% of nothing is zero.

You sell things in a vast price range.

Promotion fees

I don't believe any such 5 or 10 dollar a month program exists.

Promotion fees

Perhaps it's cumulative in PL fees a month?

But please post what you were reading. I think you may have misinterpreted what you read.
