Promoted listings standard

Hi All,  I am using promoted listings standard on many of my listings.  All are at 2.0%.  Are the 2.0% fees' taken from the item sale price or the total transaction?  Shipping charges & tax included?  Thank you so much.  Hoping that everyone remains well.  (J.B.)

Hello,

The Ad fee % is taken from the total = item + shipping + sales tax.

If you do ANY custom listing for a custom, i.e send them a link to a listing you did for them, BE SURE that ebay does not charge you a PL fee.  I just realized that ebay has done this several times.  I'm in the process of resolving it.
