Promoted listings issue: Problem adding or updating

I've been running into an issue recently where i'm not able to adjust any of my promoted listings. I'm unable to find the options that were available previously. It's as if promoted listings don't even exist. Wanted to

know if anyone else is having this issue. Whenever revising a listing that was promoted i receive this message:

"There was a problem adding or updating Promoted Listings. Update this listing to try again."

Have you sent out any offers on the items that are still open? Pending offers , in either direction, will lock certain features until they expire.

Have you tried managing promotions from the PL dashboard:

Make sure you're using the Dashboard.  If you're still having issues, did you possibly drop to a Below Standard rating?

I've been having the exact same issue with new listings the past couple weeks, I receive this error every time I submit a draft. This began a few days after a marketing campaign generated itself automatically within my dashboard. The only workaround I've been able to use successfully is to navigate to the "Manage active listings" section within the seller hub, manually searching for each new item and selecting the underscored "Edit promoted listing" button/link, then applying the appropriate ad campaign.

I wanted to reach out and share my recent experiences on the platform, as I've been encountering some challenges that seem to be affecting my listings' visibility.

The Problem: I've noticed a significant drop in organic visibility, and it appears that unless a listing is heavily promoted, it's almost invisible in eBay searches. Even after multiple attempts to refresh and resubmit listings, the issue persists.

Traffic and Promoted Listings: Interestingly, the only listings gaining traction are those maxed out on promoted listings. This raises concerns about the current state of natural, organic visibility, which seems to be tightly controlled and monetized.

Error Message: Additionally, I'm encountering a recurring error message when attempting to update listings: "There was a problem adding or updating Promoted Listings. Update this listing to try again." Unfortunately, there's no clear explanation or guidance on resolving this issue.

Concerns: As of today (12/10/2023), the problem remains unresolved, and it appears to be linked to a more comprehensive approach by eBay to manage and control visibility on the platform.
