For some reason I have gone a week with only selling a few items when I usually sell 3-5 a day.So out of desperation I am trying the promoted listings on some.I promoted 22 items and some show up as "sponsored" and near the top of the list but most are not showing up as sponsored as all but I am 100% positive they are on my Promoted items list on ebay.Has this happened to anybody else?Trying to figure before i do more of them.

Ebay has been slow for many of us. I also had problems with promotions sticking to the listing. Go into your seller hub - click your active items and you can check on what is promoted and what is not and promote them right there instead of opening each and every listing.

Thanks for the response.Yes on my listings page on my ebay I have a list of items promoted but its when i go to search box for all of ebay with the key words in the item title then most of my listings come up further down the page or next page but without the "sponsored" heading to let me know its getting advanced views like I would be paying for.

Sometimes - my regular listing shows up higher in search than my sponsored listing - I have no idea really what they are doing. I figure it this way - if a buyer can't see my sponsored listing - than I won't be paying the extra % as they can't click thru it.

When there is no "sponsored" tag then your listings are appearing organically in search. That's a good thing and has no bearing on your promoted listing settings.
Many sellers use promoted listings so the sponsored listing you see won't always be your own.

Thanks for trying to help me Big Fish,I really do not understand what you are saying tho.I may be missing something simple.
For example I have a listing for a "Mgb crankshaft".I did a promoted listing for that item. When you type "mgb crankshaft"in search there are 109 results and my item is #45(out of 109 results) and it does not say sponsored.I would expect if I were paying to have it promoted it would be much higher than that.Since it does not say promoted I think nothing has happened.
About half the ones I did do appear really high and say sponsored.I did call ebay and the rep did not understand why either but someone is going to look into it.
