Anyone else having problems with receiving low or zero views since eBay started adding a percentage charge to promote?
I never had a problem with getting immediate views before this started. My current postings went up on Sunday and as of today I have zero views and 3 views on the items.
eBay is forcing their community to compete for views so unless you agree to add a percentage rate on top of the other fees they charge along with free posting that I offer, good like trying to get buyers.
This practice is just another way for eBay to make money and it’s unnecessary and not fair.
You should not have to pay a price for viewers.

Try to ignore the PL marketing pressure from eBay, especially when views and sales are low. Keep in mind that many sellers who do not use PL are getting plenty of views. Low views and sales are most likely because of other factors of which you have no control over such as buying trends, natural disasters, tariff fears, etc. Focus on the things you have more control over, such as refreshing your listings, adding new items (daily), improving your listing quality and diversifying your offerings. 😊

For the past month our # of views have dropped significantly but I do not think it has anything to do with PLs. If I search for items we've listed without PLs, even ones with multiple listings, I quickly find our listing. For the most part there are usually fewer than 5-10 listings of the same or similar item. If you are listing mass produced items the issue might be PLs but I think ebay views are a leading indicator of an economic slowdown.

Why do you believe it’s an indicator of an economic slowdown?

Because people are not interested in buying or looking at non-essential items when the President of the United States is intent on destroying the world economy similar to the way he has destroyed every business he has run.

Your first photos are very interesting, but they are dragging down your SEO, especially on outside searches like Google. One, non collage photo is much better.
My views are way down and I promote my listings. This is everywhere and when you are worried about losing your job, the price of eggs is 7.00 a dozen and a cup of coffee is .67 more , gold jewelry is not on the list.

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!

Depending on what you are listing, your items may be hidden from shoppers (sorry, lets say "ommited" from search results).
Promoting them might help views a wee bit.
Other sellers promoting might hurt your views a wee bit as well.
I sell used auto parts and can show anybody examples of listings and Promoted listings being ommited from results.
We are having some success with combating this via a couple different methods. But, on "like" items, you almost have to accept it. Views and Sales on "like" items seem to come when it's "just your turn" and there's nothing you can do to make it better, except wait.
