Problems getting on the boards ???

It started Friday eve. around 5 PM, I could get onto ebay, no prob.

But when I click community, all I get is the spinny blue thing.

I run Ccleaner, AVG and Malware bytes, still no go.

After about 3 hours it starts working.

Sat. same time, it happens again, run through the same thing.

After a few hours, it starts working again.

Sun. and Mon. it happens in the afternoon, 

and takes a dozen tries, but then I get in.

anyone having this problem ?

It's been that way for me since last week on all browsers.

A big hint is the error that I get on my Kindle using Silk "community.ebay.com has redirected you too many times"

I think that there is some login loop running .... and eBay.com is timing out with the login verification script for community 😞

No problem at all using google on a laptop.

I have been getting the redirect message for a few weeks now.

But for me it happens when I am reading a thread, and hit the back button, to go back.

It only stays up for a few seconds, then up pops the boards.

I do think it is a board login problem.

One time I was logged into ebay, but when the boards came up.

There was a login button, first time that has happened.

Doug said they were doing work to speed things up, and if there's a speed or login issue he'd probably want to be alerted. In fact...

I haven't been able to duplicate. I am going to refer this to Lithium.

If anyone can get a screenshot and post, that will help.

Thanks @emerald40, did read the post, but got usernames mixed up when responding.

@penguins_dont_fly is on kindle with issues, and @sockmonkeydave also having issues.

Of course ... it isn't happening right now to get you a screenshot 😞

As Dave mentioned in the OP, it's intermittent .. I'll keep my fingers on "volume+power" the next few times I log in on the Kindle for you, though ... and I will see if I can catch it on my laptop in the morning when I'm back in the office (Win10 w Chrome and Waterfox).

Hi Doug, for me the community freeze up just started a few days ago.

When I hit the community button, I get a blank white screen.

The URL bar would show    ebay.community

and then up in the left corner The spinny blue thing.

Some times this can go on for hours, and many attempts.

Now the other problem " too many redirects"

I have been having that for a few weeks.

If I am reading a thread, and I hit the back button, to go back to the selling discussion main page.

It will pop up for a few seconds, and then go back to the selling main page.

For me it happens so fast, that getting a screen shot is imposible.

It was only when I read a post about a seller who got the redirect message.

He was trying to list, and got the message, and his listing failed to take.

( that was when thought, hey, it's not just me)

I am on a lap top, using google chrome, never had a problem with chrome.

I have not tried using IE, but I will.

And I will try on my wife's android tablet, also.

As it seems to be both on the community boards, and when listing.

It seems to be system wide,

And like most glitches, it only hits some and not others.
