Anyone using this Priority Campaign??, The way sales have been & to be charged $1 Per Day!, Scary

I had to look it up. Very sad campaign / money grab.
This was the red flag when reading:
For each campaign using the priority strategy you run, you'll be charged for the clicks on your ads up to - but never more than - your campaign's daily budget. Once your campaign has reached its daily budget, your campaign will stop serving ads until the next day, when the daily budget resets. Any unused daily budget will not roll over to the next day.

No, I wouldn't even consider it. If I did I would need to come out of retirement and go back to work just to pay for that nonsense. Nope 👎 not doing that.

For anybody not familiar with this term, eBay recently renamed Promoted Listings Advanced (pay per click model) to Priority Campaign.
They renamed Promoted Listings Standard (pay on sale model) to General Campaign.
Read about even more new changes to familiar lingo here:
Sorry to go off on a tangent MeMe. To answer your direct question: no, I do not use that form of advertising. It's an advertising strategy that's geared towards massive mega sellers. Most small-moderate-large sellers may find they're throwing money in the trash by using that type of advertising campaign. A seller such as yourself, if you want to pay for advertising, will find the General campaign (formerly PLS) is a better fit.

Absolutely not. Never.

Not paying anyone to click on my listing.

I agree... Enough is enough... I'll stay with the standard PLS geared to certain categories and depending on the number of other sellers I'm competing with for the same or similar items.
Cheers, Duffy

I never have used any extra cost options. People will buy what they are looking for, no promo will change that.

No, No, No... There will be none of That!!
i sell in a very Competitive / Over-Saturated Market(s) here on eBay and i can get by without any of this Silly Nonsense of Pay-to-Play for better position in search results.
It all comes down to having merchandise that cost you very little, ships relatively cheap (harder and harder to do in todays environment) and has some desirability at a competitive price.

I cannot even believe they are doing this. I have sold on Ebay for several years. To sell something for $10 at this point, they take $4-$5 of it. I used what was called promoted listings. Feel forced to as other people are - so if you don't, you don't have a chance. I cannot wait for the day I can stop selling on ebay. Its the only way I can make a few dollars right now and its by getting rid of stuff around my house and buying at sales and reselling. Its a vey small profit, but its all I have. I am horrified that they are doing this. They should be ashamed. Their fees are too high now. They take a percentage of the shipping is bad enough.

I know my choices, What is scary is for a seller to even consider this at a $1 a day, Is that easier for you to understand?

I tried it for several days a while ago -- NOT ONE SALE. It's just more of a money grab and nonsense as mentioned by many sellers on this forum. The fact that eBay does zero advertising and listings no longer show up in a google search is really puzzling and has angered many sellers. We are not falling for this nonsense.

I am not using it, and I don't think I ever will. Can't afford and don't believe in it.
Things aren't as simple. We have to use correct keywords or else it won't appear in Google search. Not saying that my descriptions are perfect but another day I was looking for a haircut, have ended up on some website and low and behold, two of my listing pictures are staring me in the face. I couldn't believe it. One pic wasn't even on a white background.
No thanks, can' afford that eBay deal .

So true. eBay renames things all the time. Whatever happened to the Markdown Manager? Argh
