Anyone else suddenly unable to print shipping labels? No issue with buyer's address. Message indicates:
It was not possible to generate the label. Something is wrong. Please try again later.

Pirate ship is still working. Just got all of my labels there this morning. It's always good to have an alternative because eBay tends to have USPS shipping problems randomly. I always find it interesting that they always blame the issue on USPS when every other postage site is working just fine. Methinks the problem is not with the postal service servers, but with eBay.

Fixed and printed 7:04 AM.

Thanks! Checked the ebay down detector; should have checked USPS!

It is always difficult to tell whether the problem is with USPS or with eBay. The interface between USPS and eBay seems to have frequent problems which is why I started using Pirate Ship to generate and print my labels. They have about the same discounted rates, sometimes better, as eBay and I use a cash back credit card to pay for those labels. I have only encountered a problem once since I switched over to Pirate Ship several years ago.

If you look here it's off the charts?

It's always difficult to tell from the USPS information what the problem is and which part is down or if the whole site is down which obviously it is not if you can get to the reporting. USPS tracking always seems to have the most problems. While I don't have problems generating the labels from Pirate Ship when trying to access the tracking information on the USPS sites I have often encountered issues.

I'm wholeheartedly in agreement with @dbfolks166mt. I've had a similar, much better experience since switching over to Stamps.com about 13 years ago. I was tired of eBay's unreliable, restrictive, and cluttered shipping/labeling part of its site and the constant tinkering with it, and I found even more benefits since dumping it and doing the switchover.
I now get automatic import and comprehensive postback of orders to eBay (even feedback for the buyer if I want) and a real live, reliable and knowledgeable Stamps.com employee who speaks understandable English at the other end of the CS phone line, and who has the authority to solve a problem or answer a question correctly, or to quickly connect me with someone who can. Downloadable shipping reports for tax purposes as well.
Nearly zero shipping/labeling problems since my switchover. Everything my business model needs, especially trust, reliability, and real CS.
Think about it... many other and much better automated alternatives out there.
Cheers, Duffy

Hey @lb23cavaliersmvp! Thank you for reporting this and I did get some insight that as of now everything should be working as intended.
