Printing Packing Slips not working today?

I have not been able to print packing slips this morning for my sales that I am trying to ship. I have retried multiple times for over an hour

It's that page that contains the problem link to the Print Packing Slip form (the one that's hanging).

It is indeed possible to use the "Print packing slips and more" option (further down in the same Action menu), and also to go to Order Details and find the same packing slip link there, but those details need to be made known. Following the usual path to the Get Shipping Label page is where you'll get stuck trying to access the packing slip for that shipment.

haha Well I guess I'm a moron because to me, the logical next step when you want a packing slip is to select "get packing slip and more" - hence my post saying:

In the meantime, I suggest going through the seller hub > orders page to generate packing slips.

It would not occur to me to go to "get shipping label" when what I wanted to do was "get packing slip." 😁

If there was an intermediary page like seller hub > orders > get shipping label > print packing slip, I would have mentioned that intermediary page "get shipping label." Instead I just said go to the orders page figuring people would go directly to "get packing slip." There's the lesson of the day about making assumptions.

Ah, but they don't. 😁 Well, the ones that do are not the ones who are reporting a problem printing packing slips, and there are certainly quite a few reporting in this morning.

Speaking for myself only, I know that the packing slip isn't complete (or even printable, I think) before the buyer has paid, and once he has paid, it's time to ship, starting of course with the packing slip, the link for which is off of the Ship Your Order page, which is the logical place to find it. (You may remember a short time when they revised that page and took the link off of it, requiring you to print the label first before getting a link for the packing slip, and that raised a major hoo-haw until they quickly restored it.)

Unfortunately it appears that the Ship Your Order page might be the one place where the Print Packing Slip operation is not working. Perhaps someone has either botched the call to it from the Ship Your Order page, or is not fielding the response properly. I notice in testing that I can see an additional line of text near the top of the packing slip page appear for an instant and then disappear into the infinite void, so something is going wrong in the effort to paint the packing slip page from that location.

I do remember. When that happened I was telling everybody the same thing I have been this morning - to use the get packing slip link from the actions menu. haha

This alternative worked for me a few minutes ago....

The "Print packing slip and more" link in the Action pulldown menu of the Sold items page, similar to that of the Order Details page, also leads to a working Packing Slip function.

You can print the "Packing Slip" from the "Print Packing Slip and more" drop down.

Instead of clicking on the "Get Shipping Label" link, click on the drop down menu for more options and click on the "Print Packing slip and more" link. Print your Packing Slip from there, then close that window to go back to the "Get Shipping Label" to print your label. Simple work around and works like a charm!

Yes... I had the same issue!  I couldn't print one for hours in the shipping label app, however when I went back to the order details page, I was able to.  Just one more site screw up.. eBay has never managed their site efficiently.

Just wondering if ebay is aware of this glitch. It just started yesterday (for me) and continues today. It's an extra step to print the packing slip when it can't be done with the link on the shipping label page. I just go back to shipped orders and print packing slip form there. There are multiple work-arounds, but I'm so used to doing everything from this one page.

If someone has not posted this already, instead of using the "print packing slip" from with the buy shipping window, just use the pulldown from within the Orders tab and select "Print packing slip and more"

The packing slip will print from there.

Still broke as of today.  I wish they would go back to the "old style" packing list.  IT WORKED SO MUCH BETTER and is actually a packing slip, not this crap eBay thinks is a packing slip!!!

I can confirm this has been broken for almost a week now.

I am only able to print packing slips from the orders page from the "print packing slip and more" dropdown on the order.  Then I go to print a label after.  More clicks, but whatever.
