Price gouging

We had gag gift toilet paper listed, this is fun paper with printing and decorations for a party, not to be used.  There are similar items for sale at similar prices, EBAY removed ours for price gouging.  Is there any way we can list this and work around that gouging? The paper as jokes printed on it, and is not for using, just for fun. Thanks!

If you want to keep your account, don't relist.  To me, its not worth getting the account suspended.  Yes, I get the part about toilet paper, that is not to be use as toilet paper, but for humor.

What category did you post it in? Not sure but i would think if you posted in collectables, it should not matter.

If it's been removed; even if 'by accident' from the 'bots'...

DO NOT relist it.

btw- what was the 'category' you listed it under?

Catagory of those others.

Where did you list?

If  not in this sub catagory and you're brave, you could try it again  with maybe a different price, new pictures......if you're brave

Sounds like your item was snagged by a zealous bot.  Bummer!

@eric9730

Toilet paper has been banned for 2 years now and it doesn't matter what kind it is.

Have a great day.

I am a stamp collector and I bid $5 on an item listed for $118. Any stamp collector knows it was worth $5 or less, just look at the same item from other vendors. When I asked why his was worth $118, he replied "Not interested." I looked at the seller's store and all of his items were supremely overpriced. I think if you bought one of his stamps, you're really buying narcotics and that in-the-know buyers know what they are really paying for. How can I get eBay to investigate this seller (item 186059582866).

Quite the awful and ridiculous accusation on your part. Full disclosure I know nothing about stamps etc... but I know enough about eBay selling. Also, no way to affirm or deny you're right about your evaluation of $5. I once had someone try to lecture me on how my item was worth $10. I sold it to a knowledgeable collector later that week for $130.

Either way, there are SO many things wrong with what you said, and so many things wrong with your assumption... I rather not get into that, especially because how can I prove a negative?.. but I really do want to stop and ask, what person, doing what you suggest they are doing, lists 7,700+ items? Seriously?

I see people with items ridiculously over priced all the time. There is one in particular who comes to mind. First, if you see, they have a $50 off $200 coupon.... that right there is an acknowledgement of how overpriced they are. I don't understand or agree with the methods and business practices employed, I've seen a number of people who over price to offer RIDICULOUS discounts ... to each their own.

However, the conclusions you jumped to are insanely inflammatory and ... I don't even know what to further say about that ... and you should just let this individual be, and move on and go about your business. A seller is entitled to ask whatever they want, a buyer is entitled to choose who they do NOT do business with. That's where their respective entitlements end. Buyers who don't like what a seller is asking or an item or the item they are advertising, those buyers may walk away, and are entitled to nothing beyond that privelege.
