In March 2020 I informed eBay of price gouging. Listed were $4.00 cans of Lysol for $40 to $60 dollars. I checked back 30 days later, no change. I checked again in May, no change. I called eBay again and was reassured they would be pulled, again no change. As of my last check and then running the Lysol totals, eBay had profited about $266,00.00 off the price gouging. Wow....interesting. Never thought of that angle. I sell 45rpm records, so where required (based upon storage dust/dirt) I clean my records with a cotton ball and some isopropyl rubbing alcohol. Recently I noticed that my current bottle was running low, so I tried to buy some from my local grocery store and pharmacy...no luck... hoarders for whatever use. SO, I recently decided to see if they were offered within eBay. I saw SEVERAL LISTINGS for the same 32 FL OZ bottle that I have...prices ranging from $15.99 to $39.99. I almost bought one, but one of my daughters bought one for me from a pharmacy on her side of town....price was $3.99. I was shocked at how close I came to being ripped-off......and now this. Just ugly on everyone's part.
