Greetings,
I d love to hear from the wise men of this place how to handle a brewing case I have right now...
I shipped a video camera last week(registered, insured, express etc.) to another guy within the EU. The tracking id seems to be stuck at "item sent abroad" for a bit more than week now.
Such delays(for within the EU) are within normality from my experiance, but the buyer since the start has been bugging me about delivery time, and asking about a refund in case it doesn't arrive etc. He also has only 2 feedbacks(possitive at least)
I asked him to confirm his shipping info which he did, and I also have proof of shipping with dates, the tracking id, plus a photo of the package with his info, stamps etc(old habbit!) Whats the worst damage he could do in case he's a scammer? Also What would happen if he opens an INR case against me with the item still being traceable?
Thanks!

He can't open an INR case until after the last estimated delivery date. If tracking shows still in transit you can input the tracking number and call to get an extension.

OP, you might also want to check on the European board as your rules may be a bit different then they are here in the US.

Unfortunately, it's due past the estimated delivery time,
Ebay gives some extremely optimistic if not unrealistic at all dates(such as 2-3 days in this case !)
I shipped at the correct adress, with the fastest available here option. So I think as I seller my part is kinda done. Is it my responsibility if the package gets stuck/stolen/disintegrated on it's way?
As mentioned, it's also insured, but the postal service here won't accept lost claims untill a couple of months have passed since shipping at least, which is not unreasonable...

Yes, it is 100% your responsibility if the package never arrives or is damaged during the journey.

At least in the US, a buyer can open a INR case up to 30 days past the last estimated delivery date. Typically if it doesn't show up shortly there after that, you'll have no choice but to refund. Sometimes you can call eBay and get an extension. As far as proof of shipping, photo's and all that, none of that matters. YMMV. Good Luck

Yes, its your problem. Buyers don't have to partake in insurance claims.

Thanks for your information all...
So a buyer can practically pretty much get the item plus the funds back whenever he wants and leave you to fight for insurance claims which you might not get at all, especially if the item shows up as delivered in tracking...
Also, from a past case of mine, he can damage the item on purpose and force a snad case on you in case he changes his mind or has some accident with the item during the first days of use.
Has ebay forgoten that there are also small time, everyday guys here selling their junk and not only mega-stores with collateral budget etc in their books?

Stamps? As in stamps for postage?
That may be your delay - even within the EU.
