Hi,
I noticed just now a seller that has what Im pretty sure is hundreds of fraudulent high priced listings.
I reported one but couldnt find a good match for the the report.
And the ebay contact does not bring up a good match.
Can I post the user seller user name on here?
Or any suggestions what I might do?
Thanks!

Thats the one
I agree.
I reported two items.
But a message field did not come up in the form to elaborate on the issue
Someone spent a lot of time doing those listings, then evidently hit "submit" to put em all out at once.

I reported three of the listings, but I would like to report the seller, as there are far too many listings and a lot of bids.
I'm going to try and get it reported to security somehow.

If you think they are fraudulent then contact eBay. Other than that nothing you can do

The fraudulent listings of this account have been up for several hours now. Over 56,000 of them in all different categories. The pictures and titles have all been stolen from other eBay users who recently sold these items. Ridiculous that this type of thing is allowed to go on for such a long time when many of us are reporting these listings.

I keep searching for the listings so I could add to the number of reported listings and add another name to the list of people reporting to eBay but have been unable to find the items or the seller. One of those cases where the rules about naming inhibit the community's ability to protect both buyers and sellers. This is going to harm a lot of buyers not to mention the real UK owner of the account.

Look at my listings. Search for an item like my highest priced one.
They listed five like it action style with low starting bids.
The scammers are the 5 cheapest units.
Or Just Search INNO View 12r

Thank you, found the listings and will report some of the items.

I just searched the seller items and then by highest price.
I never knew there was so much stuff that got so many high bids.
I need to be on the lookout.
LOL

Kudo's to you for spotting this. This is one eBay should take a close look at based on the number of items being reported. If eBay finds merit in what appears to be a scam and potential financial theft on a LARGE scale maybe they will get off their posterior's and contact the FBI cyber crimes division BEFORE this all goes bad. But the odds of that actually happening are probably rather slim.
It's activity like this that gives sellers a bad reputation.

This has been up for hours, clearly with multiple reports. eBay clearly doesn't care, and won't bother doing anything. They're useless.

I have asked for help with this, and am sure it will be taken care of as soon as it gets to the right people.

there are bids up to 40,000 on items

eBay will most likely take down all those listing long before the auctions end, but the scammer is just collecting email addresses of users naive enough to provide that. That way the scammer can contact each potential victim individually via email with a scam pitch asking to be paid via some untraceable method.
You can report the account as having been hijacked here:

These sorts of scam listings have been repeatedly posted on eBay for at least twenty years, often on the weekends. Years ago it was possible to embed a contact link directly in the item description; now the scammer has to put the email in an image to hide it from eBay's bots.

It looks like the listings are gone - all 57000 of them.

This has been going on for well over a year. This particular scammer highjacks a legit account and uses some sort of automated software to relist thousands of high value items from completed eBay listings. eBay shuts them down eventually and the scammer just moves on to highjack another account. Rinse and repeat.
