Positive feedback 0%

I have  been an ebay buyer for many years and just started to sell things.  It seems poor policy for ebay to  give me a 0% positive feedback out of 160.   Doesn't this hurt ebay's bottom line?

Re: Positive feedback 0%

A true statement if your item is easily shopped.. Feedback, for me, really comes into play when it's a one of a kind, hard to find, pricey, rare et et. Item... I won't even look at an offer on a higher end item if feedback over the last year is less than 10 (my personal experience dictates this).  That's when I take a hard look at feedback as well as the sellers items they purchased from in the last six months.. I apply the same "Due Diligence" when I look at Commentators, Moderators et. that lean toward sarcasm in their responses and "helpful" advice.. Helps me consider the source.. That would include me as well!!

Re: Positive feedback 0%

Great example,,

Got back on Et-- as a guest to re purchase something and the first thing that popped up after logging in was a reminder to leave a "Review" of a fairly expensive painting I purchased (and I belive they solicited for a photo lol) a few months ago that I absolutely love..

I'm Just there so infrequently that id forgotten.. Of course I left a Review and apologized for the delay but I get the disconnect as a guest. .. I buy here more than I sell and am VERY Hard on eBays ever changing  Seller policies but i do dig the reminders!!.. It's just good Juju!

Re: Positive feedback 0%

My issue is that I've sold way more in years prior to this past year but when a certain person comes and wants to see what a buyer score is and they say zero that's not very comforting to them I would think and as a buyer as well I would think as well so I don't know what that means just leave the score as it is overall for the whole lifetime. A year and whatever years you did your score should remain the same as always
