Did you mean:

Positive feedback 0%

I have  been an ebay buyer for many years and just started to sell things.  It seems poor policy for ebay to  give me a 0% positive feedback out of 160.   Doesn't this hurt ebay's bottom line?

Re: Positive feedback 0%

The percentage is based on feedback left over the last 12 months; all of yours is over a year old. As soon as you get one positive left for you, it will be back at 100% for another year... and as far as hurting the bottom line, well, feedback really doesnt mean anything any more except for sellers, and that will also go away eventually. Buyers can only get positives anyways.

Re: Positive feedback 0%

Your feedback score is based on activity in the last year. You haven't received any buying or selling feedback within 12 months so your score is 0%.

Nope not at all.

Re: Positive feedback 0%

You have not sold in over a year so of course you have 0% positive feedback. Start selling and the first sale you make will put you back to 100%.

Re: Positive feedback 0%

So, I took a look at the OP's feedback, by clicking on the "(162*)" following his/her name.  This is what it said, with highlighting and colors added for emphasis:

"Positive Feedback (last 12 months): 0%"

It is amusing and interesting how those three words in parentheses in the middle just become invisible: "last 12 months."  How the mind chooses to overlook facts that may be inconvenient, or may not support the reader's position.

Those three words -- well, two words and two numbers, plus parentheses -- kinda ought to tell any reader that the feedback percentage is calculated on, oh, what was it again? -- feedback left during the last 12 months.

BTW, no, your feedback score does not hurt eBay's bottom line.

Back to 100% if the buyer chooses to leave you feedback. I had 2 sales this year and I'm still at 0%.

Re: Positive feedback 0%

The fastest way to get that one feedback so you're back to 100% is to buy a little something from one of those huge sellers that automatically leave feedback as soon as you pay.

I thought about doing that but I mostly sell with this ID and buy with another ID. I do need a new bra ... maybe I will buy it with this ID .. LOL.

Re: Positive feedback 0%

eBay does not give FB, positive or otherwise.  FB comes to a buyer from sellers and to a seller from buyers.  FB isn't mandatory, but optional.

How does your lack of feedback hurt eBay's bottom line?

@readabouthorses   That is because you have zero feedback so of course your feedback is 0%.

Re: Positive feedback 0%

You may also want to sell something "new" as worn dirty shoes still may not get you positive feedback.
