Did you mean:

Positive ebay experience.

I listed a variations listing late last night (actually yesterday but made some changes to the listing late last night).  When I woke up at this morning at 7AM I was happy to see I had an order for 3 items!

With all the problems on this platform...

Glitches.

Throttling.

Search not working.

Algorithm problems.

How did this happen???

How did someone find my items and purchase them???

I just thought I would share a positive ebay experience amongst all the negative ones.   😃

Re: Positive ebay experience.

Congrats.

But still, you might should open a ticket on that with the overseas reps, as somethin' sounds fishy.

So -- what's the secret?

How big a bribe did you make?

Did you have to sell your soul to anybody?

You been offering sacrifices lately to Hina and Pele?

Re: Positive ebay experience.

DH has been doing "club auctions" for a couple of years now with the local philatelic collector's clubs.

I've finally persuaded him to allow me to list the unsold lots on eBay.

A few times now (maybe 15% of these listings?) the items  rejected by the local collectors have sold overnight on eBay.

And as Fixed Price not auctions.

In US dollars, not Canadian.

To be fair though, January through March does tend to be a strong selling period for me.

Re: Positive ebay experience.

Glad to see you continue to have decent sales on eBay.  Although they are not daily, it is fairly consistent for you; in most ways.  This positive experience is not new for you so, I hope your post is not mostly to ridicule those who have legitimate complaints about poor sales.  Try having 17 sales in 90 days.  A couple of those being a NPB situation & a couple being refunded due to an inadequate postal system; on either side of the border.  The search engine 'works' but is pathetic.  Throttling does occur.  Not in the way most describe it but, there is no doubt eBay interferes.  Good luck to all!   🙂

Re: Positive ebay experience.

For every positive post there will sooner rather than later be one like yours.

I have poor sales. Whining about is not legitimate.

Even suggesting the OP was in any way shape or form made to ridicule you or anyone else is stupendously ridiculous.

This was supposed to be a lighthearted thread.  Oh, well.

Re: Positive ebay experience.

I often find that when I list a batch of new listings, I always sell a few of the new ones plus some old ones in the next few days.

Re: Positive ebay experience.

"How did someone find my items and purchase them???" when the OP has fairly consistent sales is a direct comment mocking sellers who complain their listings are not readily visible to enough buyers.  If you read previous posts by the OP, you know he will, occasionally, post comments that ridicule sellers who blame eBay for non-existent sales.  I know he comes here often to try to aid other sellers but he also wishes to use his sense of humor to counter people who are unhappy with eBay's failures.  Enjoy your weekend.
