I have noticed a lot of Political Merchandise being offered, & I don't think this is a place for that, Given the current Political environment, for either Party, it doesn't matter, should not be offered, & eBay should be more Sensitive to that at this Time.

if we keep banning everthing that hurts somebody's feelings , we will be a real banana republic.

There has always been lots of political merchandise being offered here on ebay.
Because of recent events you think ebay should ban ALL political merchandise?
I totally disagree.

What if someone sell's a "vote for Nixon" pin from 1972?
Vintage pin yes but should be be afraid of hurting someone's feeling?
I say no and we are here to sell to buyers

It's up to eBay what should and should not be sold on their site. I imagine they're aware of the merchandise and are considering all their options.

You mean like collectable hats, buttons, pins, clothing with slogans, pens, and stuff like that?
What is the cutoff date? Ban buttons like Nixon for President collectables? You mention either party, only 2? What about independent candidates? Green party? Bobble-heads? Caricature artwork? Books authored by politicians?
I haven't noticed any of that stuff, probably because I don't look for it, although I have seen a few coins with the profiles of Trump or Biden on them.
Years ago, on ebay, I bought a "3D" coin with Ronald Reagan profiled on it, is that OK?

I guess I should pull my Calvin Coolidge for President sign off my front lawn...

Really?
your just posting in hoping to have others view your listings which are comic / gen con items.
you have nothing listed political, so why do you care?

"I have noticed a lot of Political Merchandise being offered..."
It could be that you've become more sensitive. There's always been loads of political items here. Shake it off.

Won't be much left to sell.

I just had a glance at some of the offerings on your site.
Since you are concerned about the political content of items on the eBay sites of others, are you then planning on eliminating the items on your OWN site which have political content (such as HELLBLAZER, THE GAME OF THRONES, BATMAN, STAR WARS, etc) -- all of which contain either metaphorical or overt political content?
Pot calling the kettle black, anyone?

Nope. Don't include me in that pot/kettle analogy.
I think your post is a bit of a stretch and not at all what the OP was trying to express. You know s/he wasn't referencing those kinds of items. The hyperbole only detracts from your message.
It's fine to disagree, but let's not go overboard to an attempt to demonize the OP.

I see nothing wrong with offering political merchandise. My only concern would be as a seller being careful of what items I invest in to resale. Many items may not hold their value or any value.

While I understand where you are coming from, banning the items wouldn't help anything.
I still see Biden items in the stores, and there's a Trump shop up the road from my house.
The only way our problems will be solved is for people to stop being angry and realize that we ALL created the mess, we all need to clean it up.
