My accounts of 23 years and positive feedbacks have been placed on Permanent Restriction and I will not be paid out the $14,000 I am owed for sixty to seventy days. I have purchased over $350,000 on eBay and sold about $180,000 -
WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG TO DESIRE THIS? PLEAE TELL ME
I have no idea why a "Permanent Restriction" was placed on my account and customer service will not explain why

@EBAY - Why are you doing this to sellers? There have been many of these restrictions recently.

Did you receive any communication from eBay either before or at the time this happened? If so, what did the email(s) say?

Ebay is gonna Permanently restriction themselves right out of business eventually.........

I remember many years ago a large purge of sellers. I hope ebay is not up to its old tricks.

This seems to be happening to a lot of established sellers lately. A few months ago eBay admitted to a technical glitch that had caused a number of sellers to be restricted, (bot coding) but I thought that problem had been cleared up.
The longest eBay will generally hold funds is for about 30 days so something else is going on for sure. You may wind up needing a lawyer for this one and it would be worth it for that amount of money.

No answers yet and still waiting for a reply from eBay also no help from the other post. I have had eBay customer service agents call me back a couple of times and a different story both times. One saying my accounts are Permanently Restricted with 60-70 day hold of the money owning and this morning, saying that it not permanent and no idea when I would get paid. No agent has given me a firm reason for the restriction. I did answer the MC011 message when I first receive it with confirmation of the deliveries as they requested.
I am trying to feel positive about this and wait as I feel that maybe eBay are trying to protect me. It a strange way of doing it by restricting your accounts and cancelling all bids?? I also have about $5,500 in unpaid items and the buyers are cautious about paying me.... ....can you blame them???
I am NOT a racism and have great patience for people who English is not their mother tongue. I regret to say with both of the last agents I spoke to, I had a hard time understanding their English and felt that they were very stressed

I personally wouldn't blame someone for being cautious about paying for am item when the seller site has been restricted and this is the case with with some orders I have

I'm struggling to understand why you even brought this issue into the conversation, since it would seem to have no relevance whatsoever to the fact that you got your account permanently restricted. The very fact that you included it would seem to belie the statement you've made.
And, I see you've started an entire thread about customer service reps having accents, and copy/pasted this same statement in that thread. That act in and of itself would seem to contradict your claim that you "have great patience for people who English is not their mother tongue."

My guess would be, your restriction is due to an item sold on Nov 28. Those types of items (ivory) are prohibited from being sold on eBay. And to those who will say that there are others listed, others sold....means nothing. They probably got caught too, or will be. eBay is very strict on this type of item.
You should have gotten a warning message about listing this. If you did not heed the warning and continued anyway, eBay will not reinstate your account. They will not listen. Sorry.

No warning for that (checked my emails and messages again) but a warning for creating a listing with "Genuine item not 3D printer" which I fixed straight away. Yes, seems like eBay don't listen
