Whats the point of choosing ebay funds to purchase shipping labels if our payouts start processing right away? Its kinda of stupid to take out the funds from our bank accounts for the shipping label cost as the payment for selling an item is processing at the same time.

been in MP over 2 years. eBay has never gone to my checking account for a label payment.

Available funds just go negative while the funds are processing. YMMV

Ive been on mp for 2 years as well ...but today i had the same situation. My buyer purchased an item. Ebay got the money and sent me notification that the item is ready to ship. BUT....ebay did not transfer the money into my acct so i could purchase a shipping label. Called cs and was told that this is how its been all this time~~ which is not true. Im not referring to the payout to my bank acct. Im referring to funds being held now right after purchase for 1-2 business days. I asked wont this affect the seller handling time frame? And was told yes that i should just use an alternative payment method to buy the shipping label. Ummm what ? I have been able to use pending payouts for 2 yrs but now i have to use a seperate form of payment or wait and be dinged.

Smh.

I just did a label on Friday (1/14). Purchased it within an hour after the buyer paid. The "available" went negative for that label cost while the payment was processing. Available for payout is now correct(payment processing completed on 1/15) with eBay not going to the backup funding for a payment of the label, or me having to fund otherwise.

Sometimes CS is confused.
