My buyer (large Japanese drop-ship company with long reputation of chicanery) made a claim that package did not arrive, to which I repsonded with tracking and absolute proof of delivery & receipt. But it has been a week and still the funds are ON HOLD. What gives?

Yes, call eBay and stay on the phone until the case is closed in your favor, which will also block feedback. You might hear the automated service, which will close the case in your favor after checking the tracking.

I'm going to guess that you mean a reshipper here, not a drop-ship. With a bazillion accountholders using the same company (I assume it's a "flight-to-(airport abbreviation)" format of buyer ID), you're going to have some claims and complaints, but an Item Not Received dispute should be a slam-dunk if you've got Delivery Confirmation to their domestic (U.S.) address.
Does your tracking number show a Delivered status to the address you received with the payment? Have you uploaded it to the case where requested? Have you called eBay to ask why it has not been closed yet?

You might want to call them, I know it's not a fun thing to do but in my experience paypal can take ages to do anything if you do not call unfortunately, I am not a fan of calling so I still have a chargeback claim going on a month now others here on the forums say they can get theirs resolved within hours by calling.

Thanks for your reply. I have done everything you mention except call eBay. The tracking was explicit that item was received by an individual at the address so I assumed a refund would be immediate. I will call ebay. Thanks again.
