Trying again. Been selling on eBay for many years. Trying to list a new item for sale and keep getting the following message. I have no involvement with Western Union. I have check all preferences to make sure bank account numbers, etc are all current. Have gone thru several FB videos. Running out of things to try. Am certainly not offering Western Union as a payment method. Any places the community suggest I look?
It appears you are offering Western Union as a payment method which is not permitted in the eBay marketplace. Buyers have a wide variety of choices when deciding how to pay sellers. Most payment methods offer a high degree of safety and convenience, however, a few simply are not appropriate for the eBay marketplace. Based on safety concerns and input from the Community, eBay established an Accepted Payments Policy that clarifies eBay's position on payment methods.

This is just a suggestion, but it works:
I use a Walmart Green Dot Card for my payments. It's a separate account used only for my ebay transactions. You can order a card on line. They provide a routing number and a checking number and it is a payment method that Ebay accepts with no problem.
I have had my account for almost 7 years. There is a monthly fee, but if you deposit more than $500 a month in to the account, it's free. Here's a link to help should you choose to take my advice:

What are you selling? Since we have zero control over our payments I doubt the problem as anything to do with those. Look at the words in the title and description as something there is causing the bots to think you are using Western Union. It might be one word or a combination of words.

I agree with the above. Take a really close look at your description text and see if there is any wording or phrase in there that might be interpreted by a bot as being a reference to a Western Union payment.

Thanks both. I do use a separate bank card just for eBay. What I am selling is electronic in nature and though it does not mention Western Union, the item was made by them, Interesting. Next step is to dump the listing and start all over using a different computer. Can even try a different server on my end. Will give it a go.

A few sellers have received that message last few years, don't know what causes it.

Make sure that the words Western Union weren’t in item specifics either.

Maybe the idiot AI is going by the initials in this description sentence.
"The final item appears to be a prop for training WU linemen."

I would say that is likely the problem.

Oh, heck, yeah.
I wonder if rewording it as "telegraph linemen" would get by (assuming that's half-accurate; I don't know what the item is).
@qrs : You have a new listing up now. Was the problem elsewhere in the listing, or is this involving a different item?
