Yes, I just jumped through the hoops also. First they asked for driver's license even though it is the same identical license image they already had from last year! I uploaded it again as requested, but the red banner still said I had to update. Update what? Even though the message did not ask for it, a CS rep told me he could see that the problem was the my middle initial on my account was following my first name in the first name field, and the drivers license has three full names of course. After changing that, simply by deleting the middle initial, the rep told me it was fixed. I saw the red banner had disappeared so I assumed he was correct. Now three days later it seems OK. The bottom line is that the eBay tools don't give the user enough information about the data shortcoming to guess what they are actually looking for. Best to work closely with the CS reps on this one.
