There are many of us experiencing a reduction in views and/or sales. Don't feel alone.

I just got off the phone with EBAY CS. Actually it was a nice call even if no immediate positive results were delivered. This is my 3rd call in 6 days. My sales that are typically strong Thursday - Monday are off by 60% while the other sites I sell on are on par
I believe the continued decline in ebay is hitting earlier this year than most and in part on how they have operated this infrastructure. I hate to admit it as it will be a huge loss for myself and an astronomical loss in man hours.
Historically this is my busiest month and while it started off great it has reached new weekly lows. My Mondays are always very strong and after 15 hours I have $4.54 in sales. This last weekend was my worst since August.
Buyers are simply choosing to purchase elsewhere as my other internet sales sites are performing up to standards. I actually used one platform yesterday that has 60 postings that generated more sales than my 9400 listings on EBAY. I think I have seen to many negative signs to show that this is not a isolated instance.
With the Good til Sold coming April 1 - I have also decided to end my yearly subscription service and have decided to go month by month. I believe others who specialize in one of a kind listings should consider doing the same as I am doubtful this will improve sales and there is strong market intelligence that suggests otherwise.

Something certainly does seem to be wrong! My page views are down a similar amount and sales are off 30%! If we can't get views, we can't get sales! Not sure if they are targeting certain groups of sellers, but I doubt if it is happening to China or big-box sellers! They are still at the top of every search page!
I have now had the lowest continuous-length of low-sales days that I have ever had in 20 years on eBay. It started in the 1st week of March and has continued now for over 2 weeks! Luckily no Zero days, but $$ and volume wise unusually low!

Many of my eBay sales appear to come from repeat customers, or publicity that I do myself on social media. Still a few brand new buyers, I don't know why or how. Adding a few new listings seems to jazz things up.

I have tried listing every day and yes, that definitely does help with some movement. I too promote on various social media outlets. I have looked into paying someone to driving traffic to my store but haven't taken that avenue yet. It costs, just like everything else. There are so many venues to sell on nowadays, I just think some of it is competition from all these other sites. I have had zero sales days and while it is discouraging, I've put alot of time and effort in having the listings that I have. Hope things pick up for everyone soon!

When I hit the discussion boards, that means I’ve about had it. I could write a book on the nightmares I have been through this past 1-1/2 years. I’ve had 4 good months out of 18 months. My last account after having it since 2013 messed up and my products for some strange reason were showing in other countries and not here. They couldn’t fix it. So I finally took my buyer’s account and rebuilt from the bottom up again. The first two months were great so I ordered based on the volume of sales, and then ALL fell down. I have very nice bedding I have sit on since June, 2018. When I look at the sold listings there are plenty. When I call they praise me for my success and being 100%. Okay, then what? They don’t know. I spoke to a rep this past Saturday. I asked if it is possible that the algorithm cannot keep up with the volume. She said, that could be true and maybe it is a wake up for eBay to do something about it. She said by the volume of calls that just maybe they will do something about it. I believe once you get throttled, if the algorithm does not pick you back up then you are relying on repeated buyers. I’m starting to wonder if the promoted listing money is being banked to update their algorithm. I have my own store and when eBay is going good then I back off on my store. That has changed now. I’m definitely putting in the time to cure this problem. It’s painful to go through all of this. I live alone, on Social Security, and the only source I have for extra money is to sell on line. At this point, my food money and anything else is going to pay off the stock that I have. I wish they would take heed on this before I walk. That’s how they lose good sellers. I have one feedback that states we need more sellers like you and I have had it in messages. Right now, it’s pathetic to me. I hope my sales pick up, but if not I’m working with my own store and another platform and just go away.
