I received a message from a buyer about an order and thought it was strange that the Order Details listed at the bottom of the order showed an odd price ($11.46) that is not what we normally would sell this item for.
I checked the corresponding order number and confirmed it was sold for $12.99 with no discount.
Has anyone else noticed discrepancies like this between actual orders and the Order Details section at the bottom of a message from the buyer?

I just confirmed - $11.46 is our net after the fees from Managed Payments. 😯
tyler@ebay @Anonymous Is there a known issue with the seller's net amount after fees showing in messages? Does this mean the buyer is seeing that too?
I can see that could lead to a whole lot of confusion and buyers claiming they were over charged.

FWIW, I've made a number of purchases from Managed Payments sellers and have never seen the net figure you've received in your "Order Status" screenshot. All the messages (in whatever format) I've received have included only the gross amount; i.e., the amount I actually paid.

Hi @valueaddedresource - thanks for your patience while I catch up on notifications!
I can confirm that a buyer should always be shown their total purchase price (item, shipping, sales tax). In Order Details as well as messages.
Not certain if this was intentional intended to be a helpmeet for you (keeping your 'total cost' in mind?) or if this was an oversight somewhere. I'll sync with Charles on this and we'll go from there. Thanks!!

Hello @valueaddedresource ,
I apologize for the delayed reply. I'm just replying now to confirm I'm seeing this. I'll take a closer look and then loop back.

Thanks again @Anonymous and tyler@ebay - if this is intentional, might I recommend including that in one of the FAQ posts or other official sources of information about MP?
That might save other sellers the confusion and concern about how this may possibly display on the buyer side. 😊

Hello @valueaddedresource @vintage-car-magazines ,
I'm still working on sorting this out. But wanted to say I still am on it.

@vintage-car-magazines there is another thread on this topic where @mcdougle4248 did a test and confirmed that the buyer is seeing the net amount in the message as well.
Just wanted to make sure anyone following this thread is aware of the most recent info from that other thread.
