Okay for some, not others???

I've been selling on ebay for years but have never understood why sellers are treated differently. I just used the "sell now" from several sites to sell similar items identical, they have already sold others. However, my identical items are removed and not allowed, 

Any chance ebay will ever quit treating sellers different? I don't, never have had thus problem on other sites. Don't know why i prefer ebay but getting fed up. Over 25 other sites, selling identical item, but mine taken off.

Hand Sanitizer has been banned on eBay since the beginning of March and that is why your items have been removed. Yes may sellers are still listing hand sanitizer but many have been removed and are still being removed.

Hand sanitizers, lysol, rubbing alchol, clorox wipes, masks, etc (anything that is susceptible to price gouging during this global health crisis) are allowed to be sold only by pre-approved sellers.  These sellers were selling these items before the current crisis.

If you are not a pre-approved seller, these items will be removed.

Do not try to relist these things after they have been removed.

I do have to wonder how long this "ban" will continue being that most of such items are now back in supply in stores and readily available.

Probably forever. Because now that they are back in supply in stores and readily available, the complaints by sellers clamoring to sell them here will subside.

If you mean that some non-US eBay sites allow certain items while others ban them, this is because different countries have different laws and the eBay site must follow the appropriate laws.

The best known is probably that no Nazi-related products can be sold in Germany at all while other sites allow original items of historical interest to be listed.
