Offers

When I send an offer and the recipients don’t respond, how long does the offer stand? I have been waiting for a response from a potential buyer but they have not accepted or declined. Now I have several other buyers watching my item and I would like to extend and offer to them.

Thanks

Re: Offers

If you go to your Active Listing - tabs with Quick Filters - select tab Send Offers-Sent you will see all the orders you have sent, and the duration as well. You have to click on every single offer to review the status. Usually EBay gives 24h to Buyers for response. Sometime Buyers do nothing, and just the time elapse. You won't be able to send an offer for a same item if it still pending upon Buyer's response.

Re: Offers

You don't have to wait to send offers. I have sent offers to 6 people on the same item before.

Whoever responds first gets it.

Re: Offers

There is no exclusivity to an offer....Your item is not "on hold" waiting for a response from 1 potential buyer.

You can send out multiple offers to different potential buyers/watchers.....

Your ability to "edit' the item is restricted while offers are in force, but you can send as many as you like to whomever you want.......

Re: Offers

They actually have 48 hours to accept or decline your offer, But you can still send additional offers,First Come, First Served!

Re: Offers

Hi @h57*05

There’s no need to wait.  You can send offers simultaneously to multiple people.  The first one to accept the offer wins the item … and ends the listing.

Re: Offers

I'm not sure you got the answer you needed for your question.   If you send an offer and it is still pending, then more watchers appear, and ebay has the listing available for offers, you can send more offers.   You don't have to wait for the first one to expire.  First taker is the winner.
