Offer accepted issue

Buyer made offer I accepted then messages me an hour later to decline it once I already accepted it! I let him know I accepted it already what would he like me to do and he wants me to take another $200 off the price! Doesn’t seem fair!

Re: Offer accepted issue

Your buyer doesn't understand how these offers work on eBay.  But asking him what he wanted you to do was vague and sort-of inviting him to renegotiate.  Advise him politely  that  the accepted offer is not further negotiable, and that you are willing to cancel the transactino if he prefers.

Re: Offer accepted issue

I would just ask if he wants to cancel item because you can not accept that low of a price. IF yes, then just cancel it. I had someone send Offer and I accepted. Then within an hour asked to decline it and I told him all I could do was cancel. He agreed and that was the end of that.

Re: Offer accepted issue

You are not bound or obligated to accept his further attempt at negotiation.  That ended when you accepted his offer.  You can just say that you are sorry, Ebay does not allow further negotiation once an offer is accepted, but you would be happy to cancel if they would like you to, please just let me know.

You can cancel using buyer request, no defect for you.  Then you can put him on your BBL and communication block (which will not work now since you had a recent transaction with him but will work in the future).

Good Luck
