Thanks.  I wondered about that, but due to the different spelling, thought maybe I was missing some new eBay abbreviation.

In musical instruments, as well as nearly everything else, there are high-end ones and not-so-high-end ones.  Maybe Yamaha is one of the former, but the seller (and the potential buyer?) discovered that the one the seller listed is not, in fact, worth that much.

I doubt that very much. Maybe the person replaced the pearl buttons to make it look nicer? Regardless, I do not think that qualifies as a reproduction. The OP could just list it as modified.

Seller never shipped it.

Even easier then, you accept the cancel request and apologize to the buyer for making a mistake.

Since you haven't sent it and the buyer wants to cancel the sale, cancel it and use buyer cancelled as the reason why.  If you don't know if it is an original or a reproduction, take it to a trusted instrument store and have them look at it.  Just don't take the word of someone looking at pictures online and make sure the person in the store you go to knows what they are looking at.  Just because they work at a music store doesn't necessarily mean they know what they are talking about.

If the only reason they are questioning it is because of the pearl finger buttons, that could just be an aftermarket replacement to make it look nicer.  Saying that is a reproduction would be like saying an authentic 1970 Fender Jazz Bass is a reproduction because someone replaced the pickups or tuning machines.  May not be factory original but certainly would not be a reproduction either!

BTW, I also want to know what OPRA for a title means!
