Don't forget Monday October 9th is a holiday...banks and post offices are closed. And if you don't have "Express Payouts" like me you probably will not have any funds released that day.
Columbus Day or Indigenous Peoples Day...still a holiday.

Thanks for the reminder! That would have been an awkward trip to the Post Office on Monday 🤣

Yep, every year like clockwork. It isn't a new holiday, they just added the Indigenous People to a holiday that has been around for a very long time.

"Columbus Day" was the most ridiculous holiday ever - Indigenous People is far better. Columbus "discovered" nothing - he just stumbled onto another land mass that already had people settling it and had already been "discovered" by Leif Erikson hundreds of years previously. 🙄 Even I knew that in grade school.

Leif Erikson was also known as "Leif the Lucky."

Indigenous Peoples Day - it's about time my Native American ancestors are recognized with a national "postal" holiday for populating broad swaths of this great country. And lest we forget, remembering the land taken from them and the lives lost while trying to keep it. Trail Of Tears.

Actually, Columbus Day was not created to celebrate Christopher Columbus at all, but rather to acknowledge our Italian American heritage.
It was originally named a Holiday by Benjamin Harrison as a gesture of Goodwill towards Italy, after their government cut off all diplomatic relations with the U.S. following the violent persecution of Italians in America.
This is why many have argued the name should be changed to "Italian American Heritage Day", which is exactly what the Holiday stands for to begin with, and thats how us Italians view it.

Thanks.
As a seller, only thing I need to know about the Holiday is: Post Office is closed.
