None of my items are selling, what should I do to sell my items? Impression 3700 Page Views 70 I placed Auction 4 and it ended on the 25th. Only one person has bid on Auction 4 but I have not paid yet. What else can I do to sell my items on Ebay?

Just an observation, how can you ship a $9 order with free shipping from Sri Lanka? I am assuming you must drop ship but still does not seem very profitable if not a loss. Just curious if i am missing out on a way to ship items for less.

I often wonder the same thing about a lot of items where I see a low price and free shipping. Of course I don't know the postal system for Sri Lanka but it could be the government augments it significantly. I do know I can order stuff out of the UK and the postage is often cheaper to my address in the US than it is for domestic shipments and those items are not drop shipped. The same is true for a number of other EU countries.

I currently have a 4 ounce package coming from the UK and postage was $4.20. A 4 ounce package out of Csongrád, Hungary was $4.25

I skimmed through your listings and can only guess that they're not desirable. The only thing that grabbed me was the Kiwi products and those are cheaper here in brick and mortar stores. In-hand, out the door and saving money.

Why order in from Sri Lanka?

You only have 18 items listed and for any potential US buyer there are a couple of issues. The first of which is most of the items you have listed can be purchased in any number of stores locally or ordered online through other sites.

The second issue is the protracted shipping times for items to get from Sri Lanka to the US.

You have bids on 2 of your auctions. Those items will sell.

Drop shipping of course. If not, just insanity.

You show contradictory shipping times on your listing.

September 9th  is well more than 5 days.

You need to remove the payment methods on the description part of your listing. Not all buyers can use Paypal credit.

You need to remove the "IN ALL CASES buyers pay shipping for returns...."  as that is against ebay policy. If a buyer files an item not as described claim then SELLERS pay all the shipping costs

Go to business school and learn about profit and loss.  The way you are selling is a big loser.

The original poster has a bunch of bad stuff in there because they got scammed by someone selling them a decade outdated "system" of doing ebay.  No one comes in here and just writes that wall of business text out of nowhere. I don't have a wall of text like that in my listings and I sell 30-50 items a day and have for years. That wall of text came from whatever system they bought into.

The shoe polish is 3 times what it costs here and it is available in every drug store and a lot of gas stations.

The fake medicine won't sell because that isn't one of the ones that gullible Americans are currently buying. There are 25 Sri Lankan sellers selling the stuff and only 7 sales of it in the last 3 months, 5 of those were under $2 shipped.

Not everything sells on eBay, especially items that can be bought in many local stores for a lower price and the buyer then has the item in hand immediately.

Before you began listing here, did you do any reading about selling on eBay?

@dissanayakeshop

i wouldn't want to wait two months to receive an item when I can run to the store and have it in a few minutes.

Have a great day.
