Did you mean:

On this particular problem, if indeed you are looking at it as one, all you need is more patience. Try moving on to your next listing page or the fourth page then switch back to your initial listing page. This is what I do whenever encountering this issue and it gets me both watchers & viewers back online. Good Luck.

Re: No views, just dashes.

It's just more of the daily INCOMPETENCE from ebay's employees and contractors that they like to call “Cosmetic Issues”

I'm having all of the same problems but my sales totals are all correct. Kinda hard to reduce a price if you don't know if anyone has even looked.

Now, now, not all ebay employees are incompetent.

Trinton seems cool about responding to all these posts and being as helpful as he can.

He is working hard.......unfortunetly he's the only ebay employee working hard.

Re: No views, just dashes.

Yes, I too have been dealing with this for days now.  It's so frustrating.  Some items have 6 or more "Watchers" and "0" or "-" in the Views columns, for both "Active" and "Unsold" items.  When I try to relist items that did not sell I have no idea how many views it got at my previous price so how can I know how to adjust my price without wasting more time.  Occasionally if I refresh over and over I am lucky enought to see the true "Views" number.  This happens less than 5% of the time lately.  When it does, I relist an item, and when I go to relist another, guess what?  No views for anything.

Ebay is constantly trying to roll out new changes and additions that the vast majority of sellers do not want, and they can't get the simple things right on a consistent basis.  If you Google this issue you can find threads well over a year old for the exact same issue.  Meanwhile I get call after call about their "Guaranteed Delivery" program.  How about taking care of the essentials first?

Re: No views, just dashes.

I have been seeing this as well.  Seems like a week or two. I usually give things a while. Then upon Googling the symptom, we are definitely not alone. I am not sure whether calling would yield any results. The fear I have is things with no view number and only a dash means perhpas no one can see the item, or it is not showing in a search.

Re: No views, just dashes.

Not sure if anyone else has tried, but I called customer support about this last week. They were aware of the issue. They said it was a database issue and claimed to be working on it. The representative said an anticipated fix should be rolled out around the July 4th holiday.

Like others have said, if you refresh enough, it seems like the data eventually loads. Anecdotally, I'm fairly sure viewing individual items within the mobile app has never had this issue for me.

Re: No views, just dashes.

I posted a topic as well.  It's ebay.  The problem is they won't tell you anything.  Maybe a sign for everyone to close their accts up.

Here is what is worse.  Why are they letting sellers sell an item with unauthorized content?   It makes no sense.  See, I told Ebay to push my duration days back to 8 days and credit per item and they won't do the first thing.  The customer is always right.  They can't.   Well then close your acct up.

Re: No views, just dashes.

That sounds like excuses and not an answer.  Wow,  I wonder why someone like you doesn't care.   I called CS and a bogus answer.
