I did not have one sale in the last 2 days even though I have over 1600 listings
This does not look normal
Any idea why?

keep in mind the majority of Canadian snowbirds are not into 2-piece swim suits!
many are seniors who take to golf, fishing and just enjoying a leisurely lifestyle away from the winter conditions of Canada. Most are not making purchases, they already have everything they need.

I'm 77 years old - I sell on ebay because I do need the money

My sales really went up during 2020 - I was selling elastics, cords, twill tapes - anything for tie marks. I was one of the few sellers that did not increase any of my prices - So I was selling between $500 to $1000 per day.
October was slow but I still sold an average of $100. + per day I kept putting more listings - even this week-end I listed more items - I still have over 1,000 more items to list....

Because my new cost for that item was more expensive, I wanted to increase the price by 50 cents - when a price is increased and potential buyer see it - goodbye sale

Thank you for cheering me up ! !
You're a real nice person

May be one will need to replace the elastic or the strap on their swim suit......

2020 was an anomalous year - track your sales back through 2019, 2018, etc. Also see if you've changed your product line-up at all. But honestly, I think it's better to see how things go over the next weeks. Not a whole lot is 'normal' right now, and we'll probably have to get used to a new normal, anyway. At least you're selling something very useful. I have loads of nieces and nephews who would rather repair their clothes than throw them away, and some like designing their own.

Do you sell on other sites? One should never count on any single avenue for sales...
eBay is not the only game in town... lots of places to sell ...been there, done that... have sold on many sites over the years, not all are great, but many will still bring in a few sales/month...
I also sell locally through FB Marketplace.

I only sell on ebay - soon on Bonanza It's very hard to find a site beside Etsy (own by ebay) to sell sewing notions....
If you have any suggestions, please I would appreciate.

Etsy (own by ebay)
Etsy certainly is NOT owned by Ebay..........it's a publicly traded company.

Was a seller on Etsy 2008-2017 and recently returned to that site as I sell handknit items...
however, I for one would never go back to Bonanza(was a seller on that site back in the years when that site actually was a worthy-to-try site when it had great potential, but it threw away any goodness it had with its eBay wannabe ways & mirroring eBay, but with so little traffic that site has really gone nowhere in the past 8 years and is now a pay to play site.
BTW, Etsy is NOT owned by eBay. "Etsy has been owned by Etsy Inc. since its inception in June of 2005"
Kijiji is owned by eBay,but is also a more local/classified ad type selling venue that I have used for years...

Last sale 11/7 mentioned the inflation factor in another blog, but most said I was wrong lots of $$ out there with a good economy!
Not sure where these people live, but were I live sales are slow, and wages even slower.
